Wag Tail Nursery is located on a 128 acre farm in the peaceful Sussex countryside. We make the most of our surroundings by going out for lots of lovely farmland walks. We have attractive and spacious indoor and outdoor areas where the children are encouraged to 'learn through play'. Come and see our new mini-orchard set in Wag Tail's garden.
Conveniently located near to Lewes and close to the towns of Uckfield, Haywards Heath and surrounding villages, we provide excellent childcare at very reasonable rates.
It is important to us that your child has fun, feels secure and is able to develop their skills, understanding, independence and relationships with other children and adults and so prepare them for school.
The atmosphere is friendly and informal with staff and helpers providing sensitive childcare to enable the chldren to develop a positive sense of self worth and identity. All our staff are highly qualified and experienced in childcare and are committed to on -going, relevant training.
We are open for 49 weeks of the year from 8am - 6pm. We also offer sessional (eg morning sessions/afternoon sessions and shorter day sessions)and term-time only care. Other hours may be available, please contact the nursery to discuss your needs. We are Ofsted registered and participate in workplace voucher schemes and provide free nursery education in accordance with the Government's Early Years Education Entitlement. During a typical day at Wag Tail your child will have the chance to participate in group times with singing, musical instruments and stories. They will take part in messy activities, arts and crafts and imaginary play. Unless it is extremely wet, we do many of our activities outside and with our new mini orchard and garden, the wealth of learning opportunities are endless. Opening Times: Monday - Friday 8am -6pm
We are open for 49 weeks of the year, closing for one week at Christmas, one week in Spring and one week in August.
