Kids Count Day Nursery and Pre-school at Hartford was opened in 1995 providing high quality care and education in a warm and nurturing environment, within the grounds of Hartford County Primary School.
The nursery caters for children from nought to five years on a full or part time basis, with flexibility available.
All staff are fully qualified and experienced which enables us to provide care and education of the highest standard.
We are registered with Ofsted to care for up to 78 children.
The nursery is divided into four sections, babies up to the age of two years, toddlers aged two to three years, pre-school children aged three and Rising school children aged four to five years.
Each age group enjoys separate facilities and activities that are appropriate to the age, stage and development of the child.
The "Early Years Foundation Stage" curriculum is followed which incorporates the "Birth to Three Framework".
We have a large outdoor play area incorporating a stage area and a pirate ship and a variety of physical equipment.
We also have a sensory garden for the children to explore.
