Nursery's own web site
The Nursery School is operated by Potters Bar United Reformed Church as part of its work to serve the community of Potters Bar. It was founded in 1966 to provide quality Foundation Stage education for children until they gain admission to primary school and is led by the teacher in charge who reports to the Nursery School Management Committee comprising representatives of the parents and Church.

The Nursery accepts up to 36 children between the ages of two years four months and five years at any one session and is inspected periodically by Ofsted.

The School is registered to receive Nursery Education Grant for three and four year olds and acts as a feeder to all the local State Primary Schools as well as many of the Private Schools, which means that your child can stay with us until they are "rising five" and are ready and well prepared for school.

The School is open five mornings a week from 9.00am to noon, the term being the same as the State Primary Schools. Lunch Club is available for an extra hour, 12.00pm - 1.00pm. Children bring their own packed lunch which is eaten in a sociable atmosphere followed by various fun activities.

Facilities include two halls with a separate modern kitchen, and access to Tilbury Hall, a large garden and a secure outside play area. There are separate boys' and girls' toilets.
