Our nursery is warm, safe and friendly. We aim to provide a home-like environment where your child can flourish and have every need catered for by our team of professional, experienced, loving and caring staff.
We cater for children from 6 weeks to school entrance. Our staff are highly qualified, with most of them being to NVQ 3 level or above. We have a nursery teacher who has a degree in early years. Any of our staff who are not NVQ 3 or above are actively encouraged to take further training. It is our policy to have all our staff trained to NVQ 3 level or above, well before the government deadline.
There are separate rooms for babies, toddlers, tweenies and preschool; each is brightly lit and cheerfully decorated and furnished.
Meals, including vegetarian and other dietary requirements, are prepared by our cook in the well equipped kitchen and served to the children in their respective rooms. Toilet and washing facilities have been designed for child use and safety.
An outside play area along with our indoor sports hall provides for more active play, with the availability of the lovely Elizabeth Gardens nearby for outings.
Other outings to places of interest in and around the City are also planned on a regular basis.
The nursery is kept secure throughout the day. There is a safe drop-off zone in our car park for delivery and collection of your child.
